The Orchestra will be on tour again in February for the first project in the year 2010, celebrating the birth of Chopin 200 years ago. The concerts with music of Chopin & Mozart are in Poland and in The Netherlands. We will work with the pianists Nelson Goerner, Kevin Kenner, Janusz Olejniczak, Dang Thai Son and Tatiana Shebanova. On February 26 we will play all pieces Chopin composed for piano and orchestra. During the Gala Concerto in the National Opera on March 1, live broadcasted on television in Europe, Martha Argerich will play Chopin's first pianoconcerto with the National Phillharmonic Orchestra and we will perform the second concerto with Dang Thai Son.

The Dutch Fonds voor Podiumkunsten subsidises the
Orchestra of the 18th Century.
