Welcome to the site of the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century
The Orchestra just returned from a glorious tour with ten perfomances of Bach's St. John Passion. Our next project in May will bring us to Belgium, The Netherlands, Spain and Italy. Eric Hoeprich plays Mozart's clarinetconcerto, Haydn arias will be sung by the mezzo-soprano Wilke te Brummelstroete. Also on the repertoire are Haydn's symphonies The Clock, Drum Roll and London and the Beethoven symphonies nr. 7 and nr. 3 Eroïca. For more details see the future.
The Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century is funded by the Fonds Podiumkunsten of the Netherlands and an international group of friends.
This is the renewed website of the Orchestra, do not hesitate to send your comments.
